We are also reading The Candy Corn Contest by Patricia Reilly Giff. The students are also trying to guess how many candy corns I have in my jar by guessing and rounding.  Let's see who the winner will be.

In math we are adding numbers to the thousands place and rounding numbers to the hundreds place.

In science we are exploring the needs of animals and how they respond to changes in their environment.
