Dear OLMC Family,
You may have noticed that I've not been in school for the past week. Unfortunately, I have been battling the flu, and I'm now being treated for pneumonia as well. Thankfully, all of this is happening in the comfort of my home and not in the hospital. I miss you and all of our children so very much. I cannot wait to come back and see everyone again. It has truly broken my heart to have had to miss so many sporting and family events this fall, and I just pray that after this bout of illness, it's smooth sailing for the rest of the year!
In the meantime, I wanted to take this quick opportunity to just say hello, ask you for your continued prayers, and let you know that I'm thinking of every one of you. I especially wish to thank our staff for truly stepping up while I've had to be home.... Mrs. Sita, Mrs. Boscarino, and Mrs. Maier have been a true stronghold for us in this tricky time, and every other teacher and staff member has made it possible for me to rest as my doctors want me to. Thank you all for your love and support.
Please look over the attached Quick Hits. Note that on , we are having a Thanksgiving Prayer Service, led by our friends in 2nd grade at The prayer service will be brief, so if you wish to attend, please be sure to arrive a little before in the church.
God bless and keep you.
Sending my Thanksgiving wishes to Heaven with your names on them...
