Family Day is Monday, September 25th!
Founded in 2001 by The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse, Family Day works with organizations across the country to educate parents about how everyday activities, like playing a game, or asking about their day, can make a difference in the life of a child. Whether driving the kids to practice, enjoying family dinners or tucking them into bed, it’s important to know that these activities have a lasting impact on your children. Each of these experiences is an opportunity to ask questions and listen to what is on their mind. As children age, it is vital to keep the lines of communication open. Celebrate Family Day on Monday, 9/25- Family Day, brings together communities across the country to celebrate the positive influence parents have on their kids. . Email a #FamilyDaySelfie, and the Archdiocese will post it on Facebook on Sept. 26.
